Mooi pronounced /moːi̯/.
In Dutch it means pretty/beautiful. It can be used to describe many things like music, the weather, people and in our case, pastry.
Mooi operates under the lead of Chef Gail Ho and her team, creating seasonal inspired pastries and fresh bakes, drawing from her memories of growing up with four seasons and capturing each in the beauty of her creations.
Gail is born and raised in the Netherlands. Post Industrial Design Engineering degree, she moved to Paris to study pastry at L’école Ferrandi. Over the past years she has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and 5-star hotels in France, Australia and Seychelles before landing in Singapore to join Meta Restaurant as the head pastry chef.
Accompanying the pastry and bakery selection is specialty coffee from Milton Coffee Roastery in Japan.
Mooi is part of Kelly Group, which owns Naked Finn, BurgerLabo, Magic Square and Sushi Ashino.
